Gary Sinise, more recognized as Lt. Dan Band from Forrest Gump, has been raising awareness for and supporting veterans for over 40 years. His foundation works beyond donating. A few examples include the Snow Ball Express for children of fallen heroes, Soaring Valor experience for veterans and high school students, and Vet's Night performance. They also donate specially designed houses for those severely wounded in the line of duty,  motility devices for wounded heroes and adapted vehicles to improve everyday life for disabled veterans and first responders.
